A major feature of the model is the bezel engraved with a tachymeter scale for measuring up to 400 miles per hour or average speed. Combining high tech with sophisticated aesthetics, the black bezel is reminiscent of the 1965 model with its black Plexiglas bezel insert.

This model's white dial with counters features 18 ct gold hour markers and hands in Chromalight, a highly legible luminescent material. The sweeping seconds hand in the center can measure to 1/8 second increments, and the two counters on the dial measure the hours and minutes and display the elapsed time.
